Rosewood Farms Maryland Wedding

Back in December 2019, Julia and I had a phone meeting to talk about their wedding. She talked about how much her and Derek love each other and how she knew their wedding would be a really emotional day. She said they love to dance and have fun – and they really wanted a champagne shower photo at the end of the night. Now in August 2021 – all of that came true and more! It was literally the most perfect day. Lots of happy tears and smiles, our favorite thing to capture. I will never forget their entrance into the reception… they both jumped up and down with their hands in the air before Julia hopped on Derek’s back and they just ran around the dance floor. SO much joy!

We are so happy for these two and thrilled to be part of it. This blog post is full of great moments in between all the timeline stuff. The real soul of a wedding day isn’t only in the first kiss, first dance, etc. It’s every hug, every time you check out your new ring, tears in your eyes watching your bride walk down the aisle, having the time of your life on the dance floor. It’s so many little moments that go by in an instant. We are honored to capture it forever.
