These two lovebirds have been together over 10 years. They met in college at Cornell University, went through graduate school by each other’s side, and now they both work in the science field. They have so many similar interests and share everything. They clearly have this comfortable ease about them after being together for so long, but still look at each other with so much love in their eyes!
Ashley grew up going to St. John’s Methodist Church in Georgetown, Delaware. It is such a special place to their whole family, so it was obvious they would be married there. It is a small, white chapel built in 1907 with lots of charm in it’s simplicity. After the sweet ceremony, they had a donut wall with coffee and cider in the church hall for all their guests. They both had so many thoughtful ideas!
Heritage Shores is an elegant, coastal-feeling venue in Bridgeville, Delaware. They had another fun cocktail hour on the deck before dancing the night away with their friends and a whole bunch of ribbon streamers (which I was obsessed with!) Ashley and her dad have a special relationship. He bought a Beauty and the Beast porcelain figurine for her over 10 years ago, and gave it to her on her wedding day. Then they danced to “Tale as Old as Time” during their father-daughter dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
Ashley and Kyle – we are so happy for you and loved sharing this day with you!
