University and Whist Club Wilmington NEw Years Eve Wedding

Terry and Matt wanted to get married on New Years Eve because it represents new beginnings, like this new chapter of their lives! Terry is a southern belle from Kentucky and Matt is a city boy. They met in Wilmington, Delaware and have been inseparable ever since. They love to travel and cook together. They are both members at different dining clubs in Wilmington and spend lots of time there. The University and Whist Club feels like home to them. Everyone knows them by name and when they walk in, it’s like being greeted by family.

These two are currently having the most romantic honeymoon all bundled up in Paris. They incorporated little mementos of Paris in their wedding decor with Eiffel Tower figurines spread throughout the room. It was all very glamorous, and to top it all off… Terry looked like Cinderella meets Carrie Bradshaw. Matt was super suave. They both looked amazing! It was such a blast to hang out with everyone all day. We were with them through midnight and spend the very first moments of 2018 with confetti raining down and champagne in hand.

We’re always so thankful when we get to work with a couple that really loves and appreciates our documentary style of wedding photography. Terry and Matt totally trusted us to do our thing and capture their wedding in a way that shows exactly how it felt. We hope these photos are as warm, fun and joyous as it felt to be there with them on New Years Eve!
