We just shared the story of Rachael and Topher’s surprise proposal in Paris at the Louvre. It was a dream! And to add even more magic, Paris in the fall is seriously jaw-dropping. Michael and I were just in France in April so we saw it in the spring. But when the leaves change to bright yellow and orange, the city takes on a whole new feeling. It was so magical and romantic.
After their proposal, we spent some time wandering around Paris. We first went to the Jardin les Tuileries in front of the Louvre, where the leaves were the most dramatic. Michael and I also spent some time in this garden the day before. We wandered around for hours, holding hands, looking around in awe and taking pictures. It was so beautiful!
Trocadero has the best view of the Eiffel Tower. It’s across the river and up on a platform, so you can look out on the whole tower in all it’s glory. We just had our own portraits taken (by L’Amour de Paris) so it was such a blast to use some of the same areas. We tried to think about them differently and make them unique to Rachael and Topher. The whole time we were shooting with the Eiffel Tower in the background, I was just so blown away. I am so thankful for our little business and the adventures we have, the people we meet. What an absolute joy and privilege to be flown to Paris to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment for them. I mean – what girl doesn’t want to get engaged in Paris in the fall? The most romantic thing ever!
