Heritage Shores Bridgeville Delaware Wedding

Uri and Stephen had 365 guests at their wedding! They are so close to their family and friends. They couldn’t wait to celebrate and it was really important for them to include everyone they love. Their Heritage Shores wedding in Bridgeville, Delaware was filled with confetti, a mariachi band and lots of love. So much confetti actually that it stuck to our sweaty bodies (it was almost 100 degrees outside that day) and dissolved into a white paste. It was hilarious watching everyone trying to wipe Uri and Stephen down after the ceremony!

It’s obvious we love shooting real moments. That’s how we photograph every single wedding – being aware of quirky, fun, emotional or beautiful things happening all around. This wedding was giving us the best of everything we love – lots of happy tears, affection, hugging and the most beautiful vulnerability and emotion shown so clearly shown on their faces. It was a joy to be around and a true privilege to photograph. We know they will look at these photos and remember exactly how this day felt.

One of our favorite moments was when Stephen read part of his vows in Spanish. It was so brave of him to do that in front of everyone! Tears immediately started flowing as Uri listened to him. A mariachi band played on the balcony as they walked down the aisle. It was such a fun way to celebrate! We waited until sunset to take most of their portraits to avoid the hot afternoon sun. It got a little cooler in the evening as they danced the night away. They ended the night running down a row of sparklers glittering in the night sky. It was perfect.
