This was a special one. I honestly just felt like a bridesmaid the whole time! It was like hanging out with friends all day! Michael and I photographed two of the bridesmaid’s weddings. Plus Laura and her twin sister, Liz, were bridesmaids in both of those weddings. So the four of them + us have spent a lot of time together over the years. It was such a blast to see everyone again and celebrate this day with them!
When Laura and Pat met with us to talk about their wedding plans, Laura mentioned her sister was married in December several years ago and it was 60 degrees and sunny outside. Well, it couldn’t have been more opposite for this December wedding! It was snowy and freezing cold, with lots of snow falling during their portraits before the reception. It was magical! None of us could believe how much it was snowing. It added a cozy, romantic ambiance to the day that these two will never forget!
Laura and Pat have been living about an hour apart the whole time they’ve been dating. I know they cannot wait to live under the same roof and spend the rest of their lives together! They are a perfect match. They’re both sweet, smart and fun. The kind of people you just love to be around. We are so happy for them!
